"I had a takeaway, a large cod and medium chips. The cod was huge and not only well battered but was also was skinless. The chips were nice as well. Over all the food was nice and I would go back. Total cost £12.50 which is a very good price. its a thumbs up from me."

"The staff organised a delivery of cod specials to our All Saints film club. Food was piping hot and delicious. Beautiful pieces of fish with light batter and just the right amount of chips. Also grateful for accommodating last minute changes! Definitely recommend."

"Not sure if I’ve already written a review for this place Regardless it needs to be said. The Frying Pan is my only stop for fish n chips. We always have the cod bites, and they are gorgeous chunks of cod. No skin, no bones, no fuss. If you’re thinking about ordering from here get on with it. "The tastiest fish and chips in Southend by a long way. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly. It's a bit further away for us to travel for a takeaway, but always our first choice. The cod bites are amazing."
